Those who have watched the patient laborious effort by which only it has become possible to issue two volumes of Cornish Registers every year, will appreciate the feeling of satisfaction wherewith the editors again commit the results of their labours into the hands of the subscribers. It was hoped that Boconnoc, Bradoc, and St. Winnow—or some of them—would have been included in the present volume, but, as was pointed out in a previous issue, the contents of a volume are conditioned by the amount of available material, and it seemed better to print what was already in hand than to wait until the entries of the above parishes were transcribed. Not that subscribers have any reason to be disappointed with the contents of the volume as it is here presented. Few parishes afford more interesting material to the genealogist than those which are here dealt with. The surnames of Rashleigh, Colquite, Cotton, Treffry, and Kendall, are of more than ordinary interest, and these and many others highly esteemed and honourably known are to be found herein.
