Although at the present time comparatively little known, Llandrinio focuses in it's history a large amount of local and national lore. Situated in the Marches of Wales, traversed by one, if not by two, Roman roads, bisected by Offa's Dyke, and bounded on one side by the river Severn. It has lain in the pathway of war and commerce, and both of them have left their impression on its story.
